CONSTRUCTION

The construction of prefabricated houses through our NKC’s relations with pioneer companies in this field such asBait Al-Bina’a Al-Kuwaiti Co. which is considered one of the most dependable companies in Kuwait specially in the field of defensive contracting with all maintenance and logistic services. NKC has a collaboration with National Buildings Company in the field of bridges (all types) and roads construction. NKC also has specialized staff for winches maintenance and rehabilitation of different types and capacities through which it has rehabilitated the bridge winches in Um Qasir port and participated effectively in the installment of winches.NKC has completed projects in various domains such as laying oil pipelines, sewer and pure water pipes, civil works, construction of facilities for oil and water tanks, pipelines and water treatment units.

NKC is the only agent (in Iraq) of Quno and Aqua water treatment compact units’ manufacturers.

This project has been requested by the Governorate of Basrah.

The project includes design and construction of ten new(200m³/hr) water treatment ( in several areas in Basrah Governorate) and connecting them to the water network. The works involved but are not limited to the following :

• Liaise with local water authority to detail exact
• Design a complete operational ten water treatment plant each one rated 200m³/hr
• Construct new raw water inlet structure. Construct new steel raw water inlet structure ,with support brackets for pumps and pumping mains, and safe access to the pumpsand valves.

This project has been requested by the Governorate of Basrah.

This project includes supply of all adequate and competent labor, supervision , tools, equipment, installed and consumable materials, testing devices and warehousing, personal and property security, applicable permits and licenses along with each and every item of expense necessary for the fabrication , field erection, application, handling unloading and receiving, installation ,construction , assembly , quality assurance of assembly , testing , evaluation , and quality assurance of hereinafter called the work .

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the construction of six (6) phase IV sewage pumping stations : four (4) each in the Al Maqil area : two (2) each in the Nawab Althubat area .

This work is in support of the Fluor AMEC , LLC/U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Public works primecontract No. W914NS-04-D-0022 For Iraq Rebuild-water South Project.

Hamdan WWTP, located just south of the city of Basrah, Iraq, treats waste water of the city, there are a number of machines and equipment in the WWTP that do not function as designed.

The scope of this project includes: replacing and repairing the components details as bellow:

• bar screen renovation and motor replacement .
• grit / sand removal unit pump replacement and general maintenance .
• provide and install replacement sludge pumps and associated piping and valves at pumpstation #1
• provide and install replacement sludge pumps and associated piping and valves at pump station # 2
• general maintenance for the pump station # 1, 2
• laboratory testing
• clean densifier
